REVIEW : MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick in Blossom Culture

Hi beauties ~

Today i want to do a  review about Mac Sheen Supreme lipstck in Blossom Culture, as i have already mentioned it on the last post. This one i brought from Singapore few months ago, cost about S $29 or IDR 255.200 rupiah. I was looking for any dupes of NARS velvet matte lip pencil in Bolero (you can see the color swatch here ) because the price is much higher than MAC's. And i saw the same coral colour but in warmer tone at MAC  in  SEPHORA store.

From MAC website :

"Combining the colour impact of a Lipstick with the shine sheen of a Lipglass, Sheen Supreme creates the perfect hybrid - with no compromise. Lightweight, non-sticky, slick to apply and comfortable to wear. This is a must-have for all those who have craved this kind of fusion ''

So , as i can tell the colour is coral-orangey, pigmented as well as the other MAC lipsticks. There are some fine gold glitters on the colour. But most people reviewed the same lipstick and said that it was pink colour with coral hint. The website also said the same. When i swatched it, the colour is definitely orange. But it turned to pink when i captured my lips with camera! confuse, huh? (by the way sorry for the very light lightning ,in case you can't notice any difference on before-after pics)

The texture is creamy with glossy finish  (like a lipbalm) and glides smoothly on my lips.  I find this lipstick is moisturizing, but not very moisturizing. If you have very dry lips, you still have to put your lipbalm first before application.  I'm glad because this is my first purchasing of MAC and the result is good.

The packaging is classy yet elegant. But its quite hard to open the cap, i'm afraid it will ruin the lipstick itself if i push it too hard. The smell is kinda vanilla-ish, but its not a problem for me. This lipstick lasts on my lips about 4-5 hours and the glitters still remain on my lips after the colour was gone.

Here's my review pictures :

the ingredients
love the packaging ~
the colour.. its orange right ? @.

the remaining glitters
soft opaque color

BEFORE
Sorry you have to see my @#$%^&* lips (without flash)

AFTER

Pros
Lovely coral colour , natural at the same time
Moisturizing
Lightweight
Elegant packaging
Lasts quite long (4-5 hours)

Cons
Hard to remove the cap
The price maybe a little expensive for some people

Rating : 4.5/5
Will you repurchase it ? Maybe , in another colour.
Overall , this lipstick is great for those who want to grab the same texture as lipbalm but more pigmented colour, as this is wearable for any event. The moisturizing formula may not fullfill for those who want to 'heal' chapped and very dry lips but you can apply lipbalm first then start the application. The coral colour is beautiful on my lips especially with the glossy finish. But make sure the lipstick is not ruined by the way when you try to open the cap.XD

Im craving for the another corals. So don't try to stop me , will you? ;)

see you next time in another review !
